The BIG highlight of the day was our author and illustrator visit! Simi's dad (A. Mittal) wrote the book The Heir Apparent. Here are some wonderful highlights! Some of the students even brought paper to take notes about being an author or illustrator. They asked a lot of GREAT questions!!! We may have some authors in the making!!!!
We learned a lot about writing today! We learned about revision and how writing is just talking on paper. We were encouraged to use our imaginations!What an inspirational day! Thank you for visiting our classroom. We LOVED the book! Many students bought books so I hope everyone is reading tonight! Sweet Dreams!
