Monday Marvels

Natalie read Testing Miss Malarky. We really enjoyed this funny book. Kaitlyn was reading Miss Malarky Doesn't Live in Room 101 later in the day, she enjoyed it so much. Thanks, Natalie!

Alisha found a fossil of a shell that she brought in to share with us. We then had a conversation on what a fossil is and when it might have been created. Thanks for sharing, Alisha!

Math workshop: 1st graders worked on equal parts and 2nd graders worked on weight in measuring.

Readers Workshop: we learned that readers tell the solution to the problem.

Writers Workshop: we learned about "Edge of Seat" stories or creating tension in a story. We will work on more of this tomorrow.

We also learned our new word wall words.

Tomorrow we will go to the library, so be sure and return your books.

If you have question about the flu, please check the U-46 website.
