Thursday Tales
Grier read a Halloween story today: Cinderhazel! We all loved it! It was so funny and she did a GREAT job!
In writing we read But Names Will Never Hurt Me by Bernard Waber. It was about a young girl named Alison Wonderland and how she got her name. We learned that we could write stories about how we got our names. Take a moment and talk to your child about the origin of their name.
We also worked on our word wall words and word menu's.
We had an early lunch today because the all-day kindergarten classes were on a field trip and needed to have the later lunch. So we switched. We spent the afternoon on math.
And....we went to music and P.E.
Tomorrow is art.
